Project Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and assigning responsibilities to a team of junior personnel.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved within designated timelines.
  • Supervising research initiatives related to regulatory policies and procedures, particularly in the healthcare sector.
  • Assisting with initiatives focused on COVID-19 testing, ensuring a positive experience for patients and providing logistical support for new projects and expansions.
  • Coordinating with multiple departments to resolve issues, enhance processes, and track essential metrics.
  • Managing daily operations at testing locations and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Overseeing all phases of project management, including planning, design, execution, and delivery.
  • Supporting leadership by addressing operational challenges and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Developing and executing operational processes and enhancements.
  • Managing staffing requirements, supply needs, and on-site support for testing facilities and teams.
  • Reporting on project milestones, potential risks, and dependencies.
  • Performing additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is required; a graduate degree may substitute for one year of experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in capital program management and 2 years in administration and management.
  • Proven experience in project management with the ability to oversee projects from inception to scale.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • High levels of accuracy, transparency, and accountability in work.
  • Ability to cultivate effective relationships with a variety of individuals and groups.
  • Previous experience in staff management and public health within a governmental context is preferred.
  • Residency in the city and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position with a standard workweek.
