Walters Hospitality is in search of a dedicated Event Planning Specialist who is passionate about ensuring outstanding experiences for our venue attendees. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, enjoy meticulous tasks, and take pride in executing responsibilities effectively. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to guest satisfaction are essential.

This role requires physical stamina, including extended shifts spent on your feet and the ability to handle furniture arrangements. Our Event Planning Specialists will work closely with the team throughout events, with some time allocated for administrative duties and client correspondence.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the wedding ceremony's processional and recessional

  • Ensure the venue remains clean and organized
Job Requirements:
  • Location: Austin, TX
  • Work Schedule: Part-Time, including weekends and evenings
  • Compensation: $20.00 per hour
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Preferred background in Food and Beverage
  • Certifications: TABC, Serve Safe Food Handlers
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 30 lbs regularly, stand/walk for 8-12 hours
  • Additional: Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation
