**Position Overview**

The Event Coordination Specialist serves as the primary liaison for event planners and attendees, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional service and support for all event-related needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct pre-event checks to confirm that all audio-visual equipment and networking setups are in place.
  • Welcome clients upon arrival and ensure their satisfaction with all technical and networking arrangements.
  • Maintain precise records of client event details within the company's management systems.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to accurately document any on-site modifications or additions.
  • Review and finalize daily invoices with clients, securing necessary approvals.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout their event duration.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for audio-visual and networking issues, engaging technical staff as needed.
  • Keep technical teams informed about client requirements and expectations.
  • Assist technical staff with the setup and dismantling of audio-visual equipment when time allows.
  • Report any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment to management immediately.
  • Ensure that all areas utilized by the company are clean, organized, and meet company standards.
  • Continuously seek to enhance technical skills in audio, video, staging, and networking.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the audio-visual or hospitality sectors is preferred.
  • At least one year of customer service experience, ideally in a hospitality context.
  • Proficient in general computer operations with a willingness to learn new systems.
