Job Title: Vice President of Sales

The Cigna Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our Under 500 Buyer Group sales strategy. This role will be responsible for executing a local market sales strategy that aligns with Cigna's overall value proposition, driving improved client and customer retention, competitive positioning, and membership and earnings growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales plan that achieves sales and membership growth goals
  • Lead a team of sales professionals in delivering consultative solutions to clients and customers
  • Collaborate with the Market President and senior leadership team to develop and implement market-specific sales strategies
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales team members
  • Manage and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of industry-related experience, with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience
  • Sales management experience, including recruitment, selection, and development of new sales representatives
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, including public speaking and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead a sales team and develop staff
