REPORTS TO: Culinary Director
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a collaborative and effective approach to all operational aspects.
Assist clients with safety-related inquiries and requirements.
Conduct daily financial reconciliations.
Prepare cash bags for various locations, balance financial records, and provide weekly reports.
Instill a culture of safety among all team members throughout the contract duration.
Ensure all client services are delivered to the highest standards of contractual obligations.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and guests.
Be available for client consultations during standard business hours regarding operational matters.
Estimate beverage costs and manage supply requisitions or purchases.
Collaborate with culinary staff and other personnel to plan menus and related activities, including dining and event services.
Address and resolve beverage quality and service issues.
Review financial transactions and monitor budgets to ensure efficient operations and adherence to budget constraints.
Ensure a safe workplace environment and prioritize safety on-site.
Manage safety reporting for all staff, including incidents and near misses.
Conduct weekly safety meetings and provide documentation to clients.
Monitor safety awareness and maintain safety records.
Supervise meal service operations.
Inspect beverage areas and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions are upheld.
Maintain records of beverage consumption and employee hours.
Order and inspect supplies to ensure stock levels and quality standards are met.
Recruit and train part-time bartenders in operational procedures.
Communicate effectively with part-time staff.
Participate in training and drills as required by management.
Oversee bar operations, including employee scheduling and event planning.
Establish a visible presence at the bar to coach staff and ensure high customer service standards.
Promote and adhere to health, safety, and fire safety standards.
Manage supply orders and ensure accurate delivery documentation.
Implement efficient work methods and systems in bar operations.
Provide support at the retail store as needed, including stock management and customer service.
The physical demands of this role require regular movement throughout the facility.
Employees must also be able to assess product quality and follow oral and written instructions.
This position may involve long hours and extended periods away from home.Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/
OR LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
T.I.P.S certification required. ServSafe Food Handler certification must be obtained prior to deployment. Valid driver's license required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years in a management role within a beverage service environment, such as a hotel, restaurant, or club. Experience in remote operations may be considered in lieu of minimum experience.
OTHER:
US citizenship or permanent residency required.
