Job Overview:Oversee and coordinate the restaurant's operations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, adherence to service standards, and compliance with all relevant regulations while achieving financial objectives.
This role involves managing daily operations and may include oversight of a lounge or bar area.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a team of associates to enhance employee engagement and retention; responsibilities include hiring, scheduling, training, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Implement and manage company initiatives to ensure operational compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze budget components, including labor, food, and beverage costs, to optimize revenue and control expenses.
- Address customer feedback and trends to improve service quality and drive future sales.
- Design and execute promotional strategies to attract more guests and increase market share.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all service areas and equipment to uphold quality service standards.
Education: A minimum of two years of post-secondary education is preferred; a college degree is recommended.
Experience: A minimum of two to three years in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Knowledge/Skills: Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations and management practices is essential. Strong communication and analytical skills are required to make informed decisions and provide effective leadership.
Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to lift and move equipment, stand for extended periods, and navigate various service areas throughout the shift.
