Role Overview & Significance
As a Senior Manager, Social Media Advertising, you will oversee all daily operations related to Paid Social and serve as the primary liaison for an account. Your role will involve providing strategic guidance and leadership within our digital team to create the most effective and innovative communication strategies. Additionally, you will mentor and manage the career development of team members within the Paid Social division.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Paid Social strategies tailored to client objectives, ensuring alignment with their business goals.
- Take a leading role in integrating social initiatives and present forward-thinking, growth-oriented recommendations.
- Guide Associates and/or Managers in strategically considering the role of paid social within the overall media landscape, assisting teams in crafting tactical social strategies and media plans to meet client requirements.
- Conduct thorough and constructive evaluations of the performance of Associate(s) and/or Manager(s).
- Facilitate the creation and documentation of best practices aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies within the team and across the organization.
- Coordinate efforts among various disciplines, industry groups, and media partners; support the integration of other client and GroupM agencies.
- Provide assistance to regional offices and/or partners as necessary.
- Keep senior leadership informed of significant client opportunities, potential challenges, and other critical factors impacting business health.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in planning and buying across diverse platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, third-party API technologies, and Native UIs (e.g., Facebook Power Editor).
- Proven experience in client-facing roles and relationship management.
- Prior experience in team leadership, demonstrating the ability to mentor and develop junior staff, acting as a coach and guide.
- Experience in an agency setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm through active participation in team, agency, and industry initiatives.
