Role Summary: As the Senior Technical Program Manager for Video Solutions, your primary focus will be on:
- Collaboration: Working alongside global teams to advance video projects and enhance the customer purchasing journey through engaging video content.
- Influence: Steering large-scale technology projects, delivering impactful solutions, and optimizing systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Cost Management: Streamlining processes to reduce service costs while boosting team productivity through strategic adjustments.
Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will be deeply committed to the success of our video creators and customers alike. They will possess outstanding communication abilities and excel in problem-solving, particularly in reconciling differing perspectives. This position serves as the primary liaison for partner teams engaging with Video Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of project management from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Establish success metrics for your initiatives and monitor key performance indicators.
- Comprehend the technical architecture of relevant systems, including workflows and APIs.
- Drive technical priorities and business strategies through data-informed insights.
- Advocate for project priorities and resource allocation to achieve desired outcomes.
- Effectively communicate concepts to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Identify and collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
- Proactively manage risks and foresee potential bottlenecks, presenting mitigation strategies.
- Balance business needs with technical constraints to maximize benefits.
- Promote best practices in program management by developing project plans and updating stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
- 7+ years in technical product or program management roles.
- Experience in designing or architecting systems for reliability and scalability.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional programs and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience in defining and driving roadmap strategies.
- Ability to independently engage with stakeholders across various time zones.
