Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers customers a vast collection of TV shows and movies - all with the ease of finding what they love to watch in one place. We offer customers thousands of popular movies and TV shows from Originals and Exclusive content to exciting live sports events. We also offer our members the opportunity to subscribe to add-on channels which they can cancel at anytime and to rent or buy new release movies and TV box sets on the Prime Video Store. We are searching for a Sr. Digital Program Manager who can hold a leadership position in building strategic partnership with cross-functional technical teams, product teams and operations teams, be passionate about processes and innovation, and navigate in a complex environment with both business and technical aspects. This role demands a high capacity to Learn and be Curious, Earn Trust, Have Backbone; Disagree & Commit, Think Big, Dive Deep and Deliver Results as we need to be continually adapting to the fast-moving environment and push to drive efficiency and simplification for global customers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including global cross-functional teams within Amazon and technical teams. The successful candidate will need to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment. Key job responsibilities
- Be the subject matter expert for your assigned technical program
- Define value proposition, entitlement, and limitations- to cross-functional teams
- Be the liaison between various technical, business, and development teams to drive both proactive and reactive customer and partner experience outcomes
- Own and support global cross-team coordination, project management, and be able to swiftly prioritize and multi-task based on severity level and strong business judgement
- Deep dive and instrument data to isolate issues, develop solutions, and prioritize opportunities for servicing partner teams
- Have a passion for continuously improving the customer experience
- Be a creative problem solver who always thinks critically about next steps
- Possess flexibility and have a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and highly ambiguous work environment
A day in the life
This position can be located in Seattle (WA) or Culver City (CA).
4+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Product Management, or Program Management
- Strong attention to detail, end-to-end ownership, and driving results
- Clear verbal/written communication, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
- Experience coordinating complex program development cycles
- Must be able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing and competing priorities
- Experience managing, analyzing, presenting, and communicating relevant results to senior management
- Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or imperfect data
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience
