The service provides unlimited photo storage for Prime members, with applications available across iOS, Android, Web, Desktop, Fire Tablet, and Fire TV. This service represents the latest digital initiative for consumers, following the successful launches of Amazon Music and Amazon Video. Your Expertise
In your role as a Senior Program Manager, you will foresee potential obstacles, manage escalations, anticipate and negotiate trade-offs, and balance customer and business requirements against technical limitations. You possess the ability to deconstruct large, intricate projects into manageable components, develop functional specifications, and deliver them successfully and promptly. Key attributes for success in this role include maturity, sound judgment, negotiation prowess, influence, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of experiences within our Photos applications, innovating and delivering delightful photo experiences.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to ensure we are architecting, planning, and on track to deliver high-quality customer experiences and releases, making scalable long-term technical decisions while fulfilling our commitments.
- Coordinate and strategize across multiple teams, identifying technical solutions that encompass both backend and client applications.
- Recognize deficiencies in our software development lifecycle and spearhead process enhancements to deliver more to our customers while enjoying the journey.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management directly collaborating with software engineering teams.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, establishing processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience in building and assessing system-level technical designs.
- Experience in developing and executing product and technical roadmaps.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
- Experience in defining KPIs/SLAs to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
