Job Description

Philadelphia Academies, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to provide administrative support to the 9th Grade Success Network team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an office or school setting, with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing key operational support to the organization, including financial paperwork assistance, supply management, event planning and management, and communications support. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic event management and financial reporting, as well as strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial tracking systems.

The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Director of On-Track Success Networks & Evaluation and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the 9th Grade Success Network team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to work independently and as part of a team, and have strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event management and administrative support for 9th Grade Success Network-level Community of Practice meetings and other professional learning events
  • Financial paperwork assistance and budget tracking
  • Supply management and organization
  • Communications support, including formatting and drafting content for the 9th Grade Success Network quarterly e-newsletter
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • Experience working in an office or school setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior organization and time management
  • Works well both independently and collaboratively with others
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Google Suite
