Community Outreach and Events Coordinator

The National Cherry Blossom Festival, Inc. is seeking a full-time, temporary Community Outreach and Events Coordinator to support our community programs and events.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and logistics support for community partnerships and programs, including Kites in the Classroom, Blossom Kicks for Kids, and other initiatives.
  • Assist with planning and executing special projects and events, such as Oxon Run Pinknic.
  • Support onsite partnership execution at signature events and community programs.
  • Provide administrative and logistics support for City in Bloom, Cherry Picks, and Hotel programs.
  • Facilitate the Signature Blossom Decal program inventory and coordinate distribution strategy.
  • Track program participation and monitor compliance.
  • Assist with program reporting and data collection.
Qualifications:
  • One or more years of experience in a related field or excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Superior communication and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and strong database management skills.
  • Attention to detail, high productivity, and concern for accuracy and excellence.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, high motivation, and ability to work without direct supervision.
