Patient Access Representative II

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration and scheduling processes, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient registration and scheduling duties, including obtaining complete and accurate patient demographic information and verifying insurance coverage.
- Employ proper, compliant patient liability collection techniques to ensure timely payment of patient balances.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure accurate and efficient patient registration and scheduling processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information and insurance details.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or degree preferred.
- 0-1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
This role requires the ability to work in a hospital administration setting, with potential exposure to life-threatening patient conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and compliance.
