We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration and scheduling processes, while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient registration and scheduling duties, including obtaining accurate demographic information and verifying insurance coverage.
- Employ effective communication and negotiation skills to collect patient liabilities and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and accurate patient flow.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to maintain compliance and ensure high-quality patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or experience in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 0-1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a medical facility or related area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and push a wheelchair as needed.
