Avsar Construction Development, Inc. is in search of a Project Development Manager

We are looking for a seasoned Project Development Manager to become an integral part of our team. The ideal candidate will take charge of managing and supervising all stages of project development, from initial planning to final completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on schedule, within the defined scope, and adhering to budget constraints. If you possess a robust background in overseeing public, educational, or commercial projects, we invite you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of pre-construction, project development, bidding, and project closure for assigned initiatives.
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure adherence to the original project objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management detailing project status and advancements.
  • Engage with public agencies to meet federal and state regulations and collaborate with utility and government entities to streamline project phases.
  • Conduct monthly budget reviews to ensure project financials accurately reflect status and progress.
  • Address and resolve complex issues, disputes, and conflicts related to projects.
  • Ensure that planning, design, and construction activities remain within the approved project scopes.
  • Assist project teams with contract management, bidding processes, and contract strategy.
  • Propose and implement enhancements to project or program policy guidelines and procedures.
  • Assess new developments and strategies that may impact program goals and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to estimate costs for construction and renovation projects.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience managing public, educational, or commercial projects, with a focus on coordinating complex activities from project initiation to closure.
  • Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects; familiarity with educational modernization projects is highly desirable.
  • A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred. A valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential may substitute for the educational requirement.
  • Candidates lacking the educational background may substitute experience on a year-for-year basis and demonstrate significant proficiency in the outlined responsibilities.
