Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in San Diego. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fence and guardrail projects from conceptual development to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the successful execution of fence and guardrail projects, including planning, coordination, and control.
  • Material Procurement: Assist in ordering materials and coordinating logistics with project superintendents.
  • Subcontractor Management: Identify, qualify, and manage subcontractors and vendors for assigned scopes of work.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all projects meet quality standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Safety Management: Participate in Ferreira Construction's safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including project superintendents, engineers, and clients.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including timecards, field reports, and schedule updates.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills; ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
  • Software: Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
