Healthcare Transportation Specialist - Part Time

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Employment Type: Part-Time

Service Area: Residential Group Homes

Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm; 24 hours/week

The Healthcare Transportation Specialist will leverage strong communication skills to engage with medical professionals, as this role is essential for the safe transport of clients to and from their medical appointments using a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely transportation of clients to medical appointments.
  • Notify nursing staff regarding clients' appointments and their outcomes.
  • Accompany clients until their appointments are completed.
  • Maintain weekly transportation schedules.
  • Assist clients with personal care as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in a medical office is preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Eligibility for State Police Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance.
  • FBI clearance is required for candidates not meeting residency requirements.
