About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Transforce. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating a specialized vehicle to transport differently-abled passengers to their desired destinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a vehicle to transport passengers, adhering to strict traffic rules and regulations.
  • Perform pre and post inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, securing mobility devices, and ensuring their comfort throughout the ride.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any events that may occur during your shift.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle mobility devices and assist passengers with disabilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
  • Required to pass a map test and have knowledge of the area.
  • Required to complete all necessary training.
  • Ability to lift a maximum of fifty (50) pounds.
  • Ability to sit for long periods while operating a vehicle.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing.
