Job Summary:

The Salvation Army USA is seeking a skilled Healthcare Specialist to provide clinical input and support to our Developmental Disabilities Program. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of individuals served by our program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical input and guidance to support team members on medical issues related to individuals served by the Developmental Disabilities Program.
  • Facilitate informed decision-making regarding major health issues faced by the team and individuals served.
  • Assist with the organization and management of medical and healthcare information.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of medical information databases.
  • Identify health promotion strategies to help individuals achieve optimal health.

Requirements:

  • Current professional licensure as an RN or LPN.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative and clinical positions working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and lead teams through effective decision-making.
  • Some travel in the tri-county area may be required.
