Patient Care Operations Specialist

As a vital member of ProHealth Care, the Patient Care Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient patient flow and care delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the coordination and planning of patient throughput activities, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Efficiently manage patient assignments to ensure timely bed placements, adhering to established algorithms for prioritization.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess staffing needs and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency.
- Work closely with surgical teams to adjust schedules based on patient acuity and care requirements.
- Engage with outpatient departments to allocate necessary patient resources effectively.
- Provide clinical support as required, including but not limited to IV placements and patient transport.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, coordinating with appropriate teams for effective resolution.
- Deliver constructive feedback to nursing leadership regarding operational performance at the end of each shift.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, contributing to performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to maintain operational integrity.
- Participate in leadership meetings to align on departmental goals and strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Current RN Licensure in Wisconsin.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Preferred certifications: ACLS and PALS.
