Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Associate Patient Care Coordinator to provide exceptional support within our healthcare teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients upon arrival and manage their wait times effectively.
  • Conduct check-in and check-out procedures, including insurance verification and pre-authorizations.
  • Collect co-payments and issue receipts while managing the cashier box and daily deposits.
  • Assist walk-in patients and visitors with their needs.
  • Handle phone inquiries and schedule appointments and procedures efficiently.
  • Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring all correspondence is accurately filed.
  • Establish and nurture effective working relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • May require occasional local travel to support other clinic locations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a medical front office or urgent care setting.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures.
