Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care under the guidance of healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative environment with patients and their families.
- Prepare examination areas by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready, while adhering to established protocols for patient readiness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
- Handle patient inquiries, gather relevant medical information, communicate test results, and assist with medication administration and vaccinations.
- Conduct health screenings, specimen collection, and Point of Care testing, as well as provide support for minor procedures under supervision.
- Respond promptly to urgent clinical situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of clinical supplies and medications, and be flexible to support various departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or similar clinical training program.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
