Position Overview: The Associate Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery process by managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and overseeing medical records. This position is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for patients as they navigate their healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service through in-person interactions, phone calls, or video communications.
- Accurately enter and update patient demographic and financial data to ensure timely registration.
- Gather necessary documentation and confirm that all required signatures are obtained, including photocopying and scanning as needed.
- Inform patients about their financial responsibilities and collect payments, ensuring accurate documentation and daily cash balance.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Financial Counseling and Scheduling, to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy in audits and proactively address any discrepancies or issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (or higher).
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in a professional environment.
- Ability to adhere to a structured work schedule based on a rotating 4-week cycle.
