Position Overview: The Associate Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery process by managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and overseeing medical records. This position is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for patients as they navigate their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service through in-person interactions, phone calls, or video communications.
  • Accurately enter and update patient demographic and financial data to ensure timely registration.
  • Gather necessary documentation and confirm that all required signatures are obtained, including photocopying and scanning as needed.
  • Inform patients about their financial responsibilities and collect payments, ensuring accurate documentation and daily cash balance.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Financial Counseling and Scheduling, to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy in audits and proactively address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED (or higher).
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a professional environment.
  • Ability to adhere to a structured work schedule based on a rotating 4-week cycle.
