Job Summary:

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Masonry Training Instructor to join our team. As a Non-Credit Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for providing instruction, support, and assessment to our non-credit learners in the field of masonry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content to meet the needs of our learners.
  • Assess learner performance and progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in masonry training.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Extensive work experience in masonry.
  • Knowledge of masonry safety topics, tools, and equipment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated teaching and educational facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NCCER Masonry Certification.
  • Prior teaching or training experience in a workplace or community/technical college setting.
