Job Summary:
The Department of Theatre, Speech, and Dance at William & Mary is seeking a pool of qualified individuals for possible adjunct teaching positions in Theatre and Dance. The department is committed to providing a comprehensive education in the arts, and we are looking for talented instructors to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Stage Management and Dance Composition and Modern I courses
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with department faculty and staff to achieve departmental goals
Requirements:
- Masters degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include an MFA in Theatre or Dance or a related field, previous academic teaching experience, and two years teaching in a college or university setting
