Summary

The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) plays a crucial role in executing HR-related functions with professionalism and collaborates closely with the HR Senior Vice President to support various offices.

The HRG is responsible for a range of activities including:
recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits management, policy enforcement, performance evaluation, and compliance with employment laws.

As the primary point of contact for the HR Department, the HRG provides both administrative and strategic support across all HR operations.

Essential Functions
Facilitates employee relations counseling and conducts exit interviews

Updates and manages the timekeeping system to ensure prompt payroll processing; collaborates with managers to verify the accuracy of employee timecards.

Maintains comprehensive human resources records including new hires, transfers, terminations, job classification changes, merit increases, and more.
Coordinates with external vendors and internal teams to process invoices and guarantee timely and accurate payments.
Reviews, assesses, and screens resumes submitted for open positions.
Maintains communication with prospective candidates, third-party agencies, and hiring managers while assisting in the interview process, which includes pre-assessment screening, paperwork management, reference checks, and candidate follow-up.
Streamlines the hiring process by organizing offer letters, welcome materials, and conducting new hire orientations.
Assists employees transitioning from temporary to permanent roles.
Performs clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, mailing, scanning, and emailing documents as needed.
Provides customer service by collaborating with all departments and addressing employee inquiries.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree is highly preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
3-5 years of experience in the Human Resources field is required.
Experience in Call Center HR is a plus.
Proficient in computer applications and Microsoft Office, including HRIS systems.
Exceptional time management skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with personnel at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
Detail-oriented with the capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
Self-motivated team player with strong organizational capabilities.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
