Boka is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team in the heart of New York City. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the Executive Chef in food preparation, kitchen management, and service operations. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development of dishes.
- Prepare and cook high-quality food in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Contribute creative ideas for seasonal menus and special events.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a Korean or Asian cuisine restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of Korean culinary techniques and traditional dishes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
