Job Overview

Location: This role is based at our Headquarters.

The Corporate Financial Planning Analyst plays a pivotal role within Seacoast's financial planning division, tasked with the successful execution of various corporate and departmental initiatives. These initiatives are centered around: performance management of business lines, budgeting and forecasting, merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, systems implementations, and additional strategic projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational capabilities, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the preparation of the bank's annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and the three-year strategic planning framework.
  • Collaborate closely with our Shared Services division to provide comprehensive budgeting and monthly forecasting support for Line of Business (LOB), with a focus on meticulous expense management.
  • Lead or contribute significantly to initiatives aimed at enhancing financial operational excellence and continuous improvement projects.
  • Engage with business leaders to share insights and foster improved outcomes, working in partnership with functional teams.
  • Utilize and/or create financial models and cost-benefit analyses (CBA) to guide future business ventures, new product development, strategies, and marketing initiatives.
  • Establish profitability metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to serve as benchmarks for future growth within business lines.
  • Support the Bank's M&A activities, encompassing due diligence, forecasting, and post-acquisition analytics.
  • Comply with Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in FP&A or a similar role within a banking or financial services environment.
  • Strong financial acumen, including a solid understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis principles.
  • Experience in data management with the capability to handle large datasets and produce accurate reports.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey analysis and recommendations clearly and effectively.
  • Self-driven, highly analytical, adaptable, and capable of navigating ambiguity.
  • Organized multitasker: adept at prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Query, Workiva, and Project.
  • Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, and Project Management is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related discipline; a Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
