Key Responsibilities:
As part of a collaborative team of financial analysts, you will:
- Prepare and review quarterly external reports.
- Work closely with accounting teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
- Manage the complete process for loans and allowances.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and review of financial statements and disclosures, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee financial systems to guarantee data integrity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with various departments to address complex issues, including mergers and acquisitions, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
- Enhance efficiency by proposing and implementing improvements to accounting processes.
- Maintain and revise key accounting policies to ensure adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 2 years in public accounting or 4 years in corporate accounting.
- Experience with SEC filings and regulatory requirements.
- Strong background in financial reporting.
- Experience in the financial services or banking sector.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active CPA certification.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or SAS.
