The Materials Management Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting engineering applications and processes related to the creation and maintenance of part numbers, analyzing returns, and enhancing the utilization of Bills of Materials (BOM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for engineering applications and processes.
  • Assist in specific components of more complex projects.
  • Input and maintain Drawing Management and BOM information for various production categories.
  • Load BOM data, including parent items and their components.
  • Update and manage BOM Notes and Part Description Tables, as well as the Material Code Book.
  • Create new part numbers and analyze returns to optimize BOM usage.
  • Compile job-specific drawing books and assembly plans for production purposes.
  • Notify all relevant parties of any changes to BOM or existing orders.
  • Support production and inventory management by promptly addressing a high volume of communications.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; or
  • Associate's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; or
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in understanding spoken information and ideas.
  • Skilled in using computers and various software applications to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Experience with office equipment and software, including Microsoft Office, SalesForce, Mass100, and Google Docs.
  • Capable of performing daily administrative tasks, including maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
  • Adept at providing information to different departments through various communication methods.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a dynamic environment that may shift between office and shop settings based on task requirements.

Position Type:
This is a full-time role with standard working hours from Monday to Friday. Flexibility for weekend and evening work may be required to meet operational needs.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be necessary.

Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
