Job Responsibilities:
The faculty member will report directly to the Department Head. This position is for an Accounting instructor, focusing on teaching responsibilities for the upcoming academic year. The primary duties include delivering well-structured instruction, developing and designing curriculum, advising and recruiting students, participating in departmental activities, and performing additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
This role necessitates a master's degree in accounting or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in accounting coursework.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have work experience in accounting, teaching experience, and CPA licensure. Previous teaching experience, teamwork, leadership skills, goal setting, effective communication, and online instructional experience are essential. The candidate must be adaptable to varying schedules and locations, proficient in utilizing technology for instruction, and familiar with diverse teaching methodologies. Proficiency in a learning management system is also preferred. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial.
