Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Bruker Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving strategic business expansion opportunities and developing relationships with key opinion leaders and external executive leaders in the Southeast region within the BCA Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage territory plans to drive sales pipeline growth and achieve revenue attainment goals
  • Identify and pursue strategic business expansion opportunities with large pharma and biotech companies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, CXOs, SVPs, VPs, Directors, and Scientists at assigned accounts
  • Collaborate with commercial leaders to drive commercial strategy and develop financial and forecast models
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and provide customer feedback to Sales leadership
  • Evangelize and embody our customer success and respect-driven culture
Requirements
  • BA/BS or MS degree in Life Sciences required, Ph.D. preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of direct account management experience in life science tools to BioPharma customers
  • Demonstrated track record of success with significant revenue generation to pharmaceutical or relevant biotechnology companies
  • Successful record selling at the executive and VP levels
  • Keen understanding of the environment, relevant topics, and business drivers in the BioPharma antibody discovery and cell line development markets
  • Outstanding strategic sales, customer service, and account planning skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Advanced presentation skills and business acumen
