Job Summary

Cadence Bank is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial lending team, you will be responsible for soliciting business from potential and existing customers, processing loan applications, and analyzing financial data to determine loan feasibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit business from potential and existing customers to increase loan portfolio growth
  • Interview loan applicants and process loan applications in accordance with established lending policies
  • Analyze financial data and credit reports to determine loan feasibility and risk
  • Prepare and verify loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policy
  • Approve loans that meet established lending criteria and are within approved lending limits
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage a portfolio of consumer and commercial loans, with a focus on consumer lending
  • May coordinate collection efforts and provide support to customers in need of financial assistance
  • Represent Cadence Bank in public relations activities and community affairs, promoting the bank's brand and values
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a strong focus on sales and business development
  • Knowledge of bank loan policies and procedures, as well as laws and regulations applicable to lending practices
