Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated Account Executive to enhance our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a strategic business plan for the assigned territory, focusing on opportunity development and competitive analysis.
  • Oversee sales activities within the designated area to achieve significant results in the fire/life-safety domain, including education and proposal generation.
  • Establish and maintain a network, monitor market trends, and devise effective counter strategies.
  • Lead sales initiatives for both existing clients and new prospects.
  • Project sales forecasts and deliver comprehensive reports on sales strategies.
  • Build, nurture, and expand relationships with a diverse range of clients, from end users to general contractors.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of customer security planning needs and identify optimal product solutions.
  • Collaborate with various teams including Design, Operations, Technology, and Accounting to accurately configure and price products and services to meet client requirements.
  • Stay informed about product applications, technical services, market dynamics, and competitive activities.
  • Engage in customer and networking events, trade shows, and training seminars to strengthen business relationships.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in fire/life-safety systems.
  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Strong presentation skills, both virtual and in-person.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiation and closing.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is advantageous.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
