Account Executive Job Description

ECFX, a dynamic growth stage business, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive sales growth and expand our customer base. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, as well as managing and growing existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Quota Attainment: Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and annual sales growth targets by identifying, prioritizing, and closing new account opportunities.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline, ensuring a sufficient number of leads and deals are in the pipeline for short- and long-term success.
  • Product Knowledge and Demonstrations: Maintain in-depth knowledge of ECFX products and deliver effective demonstrations to targeted accounts.
  • Local Marketing and Account Development: Develop and implement territory and account plans in accordance with business objectives, working closely with marketing to develop target strategies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of successful B2B software sales experience, preferably in legal or professional services.
  • Market Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the legal and/or professional services marketplace, its business culture, processes, value drivers, and business operations.
  • Decision-Maker Awareness: Ability to customize sales communication to C-level decision makers' decision-making style.
  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to demonstrate software offerings, develop innovative value propositions, and negotiate and close deals under time and objective pressure.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with influencers and decision-makers.
  • Resilience: Ability to show resilience and adaptability in the face of setbacks.
  • Organization: High level of organization and preparation to support effective presentations, sales calls, and meetings.
  • Travel: Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
