Sales Leader Job Overview

The Head of Sales will play a pivotal role in the growth of GreenSpark Energy across North America. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will be responsible for hiring, building, and coaching a team of A+ Territory Account Executives / Business Development Reps, transforming how scrap yards operate.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor the account executive sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Hiring: Recruit, hire, train, and onboard the next generation of A+ sellers at GreenSpark Energy.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets, enhance customer acquisition, and increase market share.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Understand client needs and provide tailored software solutions.
  • Sales Forecasting: Analyze sales data and market trends to prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for upper management.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the software space.
  • Proven experience in software sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience, with additional benefits including unlimited paid time off, comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) coverage, and significant equity in a high-growth start-up.
