About the Opportunity

Owens Companies is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to expand our customer base in the Minneapolis area. This role requires previous experience in outside sales, with a proven track record of cold calling success in the industrial and commercial environment.

The ideal candidate will be empowered to develop long-term relationships with customers, drive sales growth, and maintain partnerships within an assigned sales territory. Existing HVAC sales experience is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and sustaining relationships with new and existing customers within an assigned sales territory.
  • Traveling within the assigned territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with potential customers.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
  • Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales growth.
  • Maintaining accurate records of leads, customer accounts, and sales performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field.
  • Proven outside sales experience with demonstrated success in cold calling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
  • Familiarity with industry developments and market trends.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, plus lucrative commission structure.
