As a certified cancer center by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI), OCSRI is among a select few cancer centers in the U.S. to hold this distinction. The institute collaborates with the Stephenson Cancer Center at The University of Oklahoma, providing patients in the region access to a broader array of National Cancer Institute-sponsored clinical trials.

Established in 2016 through a partnership between Ascension St John Health System and Tulsa Cancer Institute, OCSRI aims to deliver comprehensive outpatient oncology services across Oklahoma and its neighboring areas. With a workforce exceeding 400, including over 42 physicians and advanced practice providers, OCSRI operates multiple facilities, ensuring accessible care for patients.
