Job Overview

The Clinical Nutrition Specialist will deliver personalized dietary guidance for individuals across all age groups, from infants to seniors, focusing on health preservation and chronic illness management in accordance with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a tailored nutritional care plan with both immediate and long-term objectives based on a thorough assessment of dietary needs.
  • Analyze and apply relevant contemporary research to enhance nutritional care.
  • Assess dietary interventions and provide ongoing support to ensure seamless care continuity.
  • Advise individuals and families on nutritional principles, meal planning, and food choices, customizing plans to meet specific needs.
  • Employ age-appropriate educational techniques and motivational strategies to facilitate learning.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of clinical experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is preferred.
  • Must hold a Medical Nutrition Therapy license from the relevant state health department and be a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • Proficient in standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, collaborate in a team, and work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and quality.
  • Highly organized with the capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to engage with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
