Position Overview

The Clinical Nutrition Specialist will deliver personalized dietary guidance for individuals across all age groups, from infants to seniors, focusing on health preservation and the management of chronic conditions. This role adheres to the professional standards set forth by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

The Nutrition Care Consultant will collaborate with clients to establish sustainable approaches for dietary health, enhance physical activity, oversee medication management, and support chronic disease care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute a tailored nutrition care plan with both immediate and long-term objectives based on comprehensive nutritional assessments.
  • Analyze and apply relevant contemporary research to inform nutritional practices.
  • Assess the effectiveness of nutritional strategies and provide ongoing support to ensure consistent care.
  • Guide individuals and families in understanding nutritional concepts, meal planning, and food choices, customizing plans to fit individual needs.
  • Employ age-appropriate educational techniques and motivational strategies to facilitate learning.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of clinical experience is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
  • A Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is preferred.
  • Must hold a license as a Medical Nutrition Therapist and be a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, including Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and electronic health records is required.
  • Exceptional communication and teaching abilities (both written and verbal) are necessary.
  • Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and capability to work independently are required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality are essential.
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations and cultures.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.
