Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the selected candidate will engage in various technical tasks associated with the recruitment of personnel services for the Division of Design. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their expertise in candidate recruitment and personnel management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring supervisors to initiate hiring protocols, secure necessary approvals, and process relevant documentation.
  • Work closely with the Division of Human Resources (DHR) to manage routine personnel issues and provide analytical support in tracking and overseeing job positions.
  • Conduct research and analysis, generate reports, and deliver customer service related to the Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QC/QA) program.
  • Support the Quality Control Program Manager in the implementation of the QC/QA program, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and accuracy in all deliverables, demonstrating initiative and discretion in handling sensitive personnel matters.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively, providing analytical recommendations for enhancements to design allocation and expenditure processes.

Qualifications

Candidates must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that outlines their relevant experience. This should include responses to specific questions regarding motivation for the position, task management strategies, and teamwork experiences.

Work Environment

This position is situated in a climate-controlled office environment, with opportunities for telework as determined by departmental policies. The role may require occasional travel for meetings and training.

Compensation

New employees will be compensated at the minimum salary for the classification or the minimum of an alternate range, as applicable.
