Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for leading all HR functional areas, including talent acquisition, employee relations, training, compensation, payroll, benefits, communications, change management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the talent acquisition effort at the plant level, including hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new hires.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to prepare employees for additional responsibilities and career opportunities.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to direct reports to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with labor relations to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Build a high-performing culture by developing and executing programs that improve employee engagement levels.
  • Administer best-in-class HR programs, processes, and solutions at the plant level.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or Communications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of labor experience for unionized facilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose trends from HR data sets and link them to plant performance.
  • Change management and project management skills.
  • Talent management experience, including assessment of talent gaps and development of countermeasures.
  • Experience with driving culture and engagement strategies and initiatives.
