Marketing Director

As a Marketing Supervisor at SCE Partners LLC, you will play a key role in supporting the Marketing Department in the preparation and development of internal/external promotions for all areas of the casino property. Your responsibilities will include writing promotional rules, participating in and/or supervising staffing and execution of promotions and events associated with gaming systems, direct mail, and on-floor promotions and tournaments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Marketing Manager to write all Iowa Racing and Gaming submissions for promotional approval and all relevant reporting.
- Build and sustain professional relationships with external vendors.
- Work with Marketing Manager to create and oversee all promotional events through final approval regarding all collateral.
- Supervise marketing coordinators and coordinate and assist marketing job duties.
- Facilitate and oversee marketing special events, and promotions in property outlets.
- Set-up and run the promotions, including emcee.
- Entry of promotional builds using software for promotional kiosks and player tracking system
- Maintain property promotions & events calendar communication and updates and distributes these calendars and spreadsheets to ensure that the most recent information needed to make sound business decisions is available.
- Setup promotional Hard-Wired quiz
- Responsible for the delivery of prizes and having the correct prizes ready for the promotion/event.
- Assist in the planning of hosted events from inception to execution.
- Work with Marketing team on execution of social media strategies via various platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Must maintain the strictest confidence of all confidential information.
- Maintains a positive attitude toward company policies and assignments.
- Understand and adhere to human resources policies.
- Responsible for compiling and generating monthly social media reports for Hard Rock International
- Work with Marketing Manager to communicate entertainment announcements and configuring the events within the ticketing software.
- Collaborate with advertising agency to distribute weekly upcoming events emails to the player database.
- Address customer complaints and comments promptly, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and assist with generating and scheduling content for social media platforms.
- Work with Advertising Agency of Record to develop media planning and added value opportunities.
- Conceptualize and distribute press materials in proper AP format including press releases, media alerts, property listings and comprehensive one-off media kits, when appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned.

- Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.

- Proven track record of establishing relationships with professionals within the community.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years prior marketing experience. Casino experience a plus. Working knowledge of Excel and Word required. Attention to detail and accuracy. Maintain confidential information. Ability to lift 10-25 lbs.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:
In addition to the other duties described herein, every team member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
- Ability to obtain an Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission license. Arranged for by employer upon offer of employment.
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City.
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member's department.
- Consults with the appropriate individuals and maintains and effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with the Iowa Gaming Regulations and Internal Controls.
