Position Overview

The Law Offices of Brandon White, PLLC is seeking a highly skilled Managing Attorney to lead our Estate Planning Division. This role is pivotal in the formulation and implementation of all estate planning documentation while overseeing the daily functions of the division. The Managing Attorney ensures that clients receive a premium, professional experience throughout their engagement with our firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of client requirements to deliver tailored estate planning strategies.
  • Review and finalize client documentation with an emphasis on precision, compliance, and legal integrity.
  • Enhance client experiences to foster enduring relationships.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments to ensure compliance and safeguard the firm's reputation.
  • Document notes and track time on cases utilizing the firm's matter management system.
  • Promote and exemplify the firm's culture and core values.
  • Supervise and manage the daily workflow of direct reports.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings for the division.
  • Regularly assess all open matters in the division regarding budget, status, and progress.
  • Manage performance by providing ongoing support, coaching, and feedback on performance and behavioral matters.
  • Coordinate training and development for both new and existing team members.
  • Address and resolve issues related to technology, personnel, or clients within the division.
  • Drive referral marketing through existing and past clients while seeking new external sources.
  • Enhance the firm's community presence by organizing and participating in events such as webinars, media engagements, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by evaluating service quality and productivity, and recommending enhancements.
  • Develop and implement effective processes to streamline client case management within the firm's case management system.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, ALTCS/Medicaid Planning, Guardianships, and Conservatorships.
  • Proficient in drafting estate planning documents and preparing probate filings.
  • Commitment to serving clients and fostering excellent client relationships.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and possess strong listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities are essential.
  • Candidate must exhibit a strong work ethic and be a self-starter.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with intake and paralegal staff.
  • Reliability and dependability are critical.

Compensation

The salary is commensurate with experience and skills, with a base salary ranging from $135,000 to $160,000. Additionally, a generous compensation program based on division revenue is available, with potential earnings reaching $250,000 annually. Our benefits package includes a 401K plan (with matching), health and dental insurance, paid time off, and referral bonus opportunities. We also cover costs for approved continuing legal education. This position offers a hybrid work environment with some mandatory in-office days.
