Role Summary:

In response to our rapid expansion, we are looking for a meticulous and skilled Senior Production Scheduler. This role is pivotal in orchestrating and managing the production timetable to guarantee the prompt and effective compounding of medications across various locations, aligning with sales demands while minimizing product expiration losses. The Senior Production Scheduler will leverage data to formulate production plans, collaborate with various departments, and optimize processes while adhering to regulatory standards. This position is integral to centralized production planning across Strive's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Scheduling:
    • Establish and sustain production schedules informed by demand forecasts, patient requirements, and inventory status.
    • Plan non-production activities such as maintenance, equipment certifications, and staff training.
    • Identify and address scheduling conflicts and production challenges to reduce delays.
  • Production Planning Development:
    • Design and refine production planning processes, including data analytics and scheduling methodologies.
    • Enhance the capability for centralized production planning across all facilities.
    • Create visibility into production plans through dashboards and reporting tools.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve production planning capabilities.
  • Compliance and Quality Control:
    • Work with the quality assurance team to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
    • Maintain comprehensive records of production activities.
    • Engage in internal and external audits as necessary.
    • Implement and uphold standard operating procedures for production planning.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Coordinate with department leaders and other stakeholders to facilitate effective production planning.
    • Communicate production status and potential issues to relevant parties.
    • Provide training and support on production planning processes.
    • Establish a communication plan to keep all departments informed.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to production efficiency.
    • Generate reports on production metrics and inventory levels.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Analyze production data to identify efficiency enhancement opportunities.
    • Implement best practices for production planning and collaboration.
    • Work with operations to streamline processes and minimize waste.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including formula creation for forecasting and analytics.
  • Experience in developing and implementing production planning systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience in production planning within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong grasp of various forecasting models and production strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and locations.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
