AVI Foodsystems, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic leader to take on the role of Culinary Operations Manager. This full-time position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule and includes paid holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, organize, and lead the activities of chefs and other team members involved in the procurement, storage, preparation, and serving of meals.
  • Assist in the formulation of budget estimates and justifications for the food service operations.
  • Manage the ordering, receiving, and accounting processes for all food products, supplies, and equipment necessary for food service.
  • Assess current operational methods and procedures within the food service program for effectiveness and efficiency, implementing changes as needed.
  • Conduct interviews, select, manage, and develop hourly team members.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations set by federal, state, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Contribute to the development and adherence to policies and procedures for the food service program.

Qualifications:
  • A formal culinary degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service management or culinary leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, motivating, and developing teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving and maintaining budgetary goals.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
