About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to develop and execute operational strategies for project completion. This role involves monitoring project performance, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring the efficient use of resources. The successful candidate will focus on maximizing cost efficiency while minimizing production and maintenance disruptions. This position requires regular communication with various departments to ensure alignment and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to create project specifications, design documents, and procurement scopes. Prioritize tasks and develop schedules to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
  • System Administration: Oversee the configuration and maintenance of the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) system. Ensure operational efficiency through effective scheduling and job management, while also providing user training and documentation.
  • Contract Oversight: Manage contracted services to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations. Monitor deliverables to meet quality, safety, and confidentiality criteria.
  • Budget Management: Track and report on budget performance, comparing planned versus actual expenditures. Manage purchase orders and ensure timely receipt of materials and services.
  • Data Management: Oversee the entry and prioritization of work for new assets, ensuring accurate and timely updates within the system.

Qualifications:

Experience: 2-6 years in project development and management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Skills: Strong communication and presentation abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software, and knowledge of facilities management practices.

Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Clarity PPM, SAP, and Computer Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo). Understanding of building codes and industry standards.

Additional Information:

This role may require travel for departmental reviews and business planning. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends may be necessary to meet project needs.
