Job Title: Business Development Executive
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Home Surplus. This role will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and increasing share of account among high-potential Pros via prospecting, self-generating leads, uncovering prospects' pain, and communicating solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect consistently for new customers via telephone and electronic outreach, face-to-face solicitation in the field, and rapid follow-up to company-generated leads and prospect inquiries.
- Self-generate leads through market analysis, referrals, creative instincts, and hustle.
- Uncover prospects' pain and communicate solutions that drive Pros to Home Surplus.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in retail or distribution/supply, not manufacturing.
- Must have a depth and breadth of understanding of residential construction/renovation and related building products.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance.
- Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Foundational professional selling and business development skills.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
