Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Trident Security Solutions LLC. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Familiarize yourself with post orders and any relevant site information to ensure a smooth and secure operation.
  • Provide top-notch customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and coworkers, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Receive and document customer inquiries or concerns, escalating them to the appropriate Trident representative or site point of contact as needed.
  • Ensure all issues and complaints are thoroughly documented and properly escalated to Trident and the client, as required.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain order and establish a visible presence.
  • Monitor and control access to authorized vehicles, personnel, or visitors on the property.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all workers are wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid, CPR, and AED if certified as an EMR or EMT.
  • Conduct interior and exterior door checks to ensure doors and gates are secure and functioning properly.
  • Conduct interior and exterior building checks for glass breaks, maintenance issues, or hazards, or other situations that are out of the ordinary.
  • Observe and escalate any situations involving suspicious persons or activities up the chain of command.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Trident.

Working Environments/Physical Requirements
  • May be required to drive a company vehicle between sites.
  • This is a physical job that requires the ability to work in different environments and terrains, as well as frequent travel between client buildings and/or campuses.
  • Must be able to work inside and outside, regardless of weather conditions.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work weekends and holidays, and overtime, when needed.
Reporting Structure & Classification
  • The Security Officer is a full-time hourly non-exempt position that reports directly to the Field Supervisor.
Compensation
  • $15.25-$16.25/hr
