Key Responsibilities
DSI is currently seeking Healthcare Security Specialists to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring a safe and secure environment for clients and staff.
  • Performing general security duties as required.
  • Being vigilant to identify, address, and report any potential hazards.
  • Understanding and adhering to DSI and client-specific requirements.
  • Participating in training sessions to familiarize yourself with safety protocols and DSI's safety manual.
  • Engaging with clients, visitors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.


Compensation
The position offers a competitive pay rate of $15.00 per hour.


Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • The capability to conduct routine foot patrols and perform moderate lifting.
  • The ability to work in various weather conditions.


Pre-employment Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Have a military or law enforcement background, or at least 5 years of verifiable security experience.
  • Have reliable transportation and communication means.
  • Successfully pass all required background checks and drug screenings.


Education and Certification
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certifications: Valid State Driver's License, Valid State of Alabama Security License
